Position
Description: Work in large corporate-wide, heterogeneous, distributed computing
network. Develop corporate level security policies, p]rocedures and security
architectures: providing security consulting services, administering network
firewalls, mainframe security, web (intranet and internet) security and remote
access (dial-in) security and for promoting information security awareness.
Analyze security state of existing applications, hosts and networks and for
formulating recommendations for policies, procedures, and technologies to
assure security. Also knowledgeable about EDI, evolving internet and extranet
practices, e-commerce, as they will act as internal security consultant to
other IT areas.
Experience
Level: 3-6 Years
Skill Set:
Security background check required. 4 years experience in programming, system
analysis, project management, auditing in a distributed computing environment.
Knowledge of security access facilities. Certification or degree required.
- Good knowledge of Application
Security Solutions including, LDAP, XML, Authorization, Provisioning,
Cryptographic APIs & Authentication.
2. Strong background in active directory security and integration with applications such as Business Objects.
3. Strong background in application security implementation, directory schema design, understanding of customers' business processes, network and system security, security auditing techniques and/or computer controls environments.
4. General understanding of networking and communication techniques, Internet, Intranets and protocols and their effect on security.
5. Ability to articulate application security policies, procedures, guidelines to all levels of management and staff.
6. Security and control implementation experience in security applications (PKI, Netegrity SiteMinder).
7. Ability to interface with management and staff. Able to defuse situations, work around defensive attitudes and deal with diverse personalities.
